Hello， my name is Sebastian and I am from Portland Oregon.  Do you know wherePortland is?  Its on the West coast of America above California and under Washington(Seattle).  Portland is famous for Nature， being a clean city and Nike.

I have many hobbies and like to do many things but my main hobbies are weight lifting， photography and video games.  I like to talk about and do many things.

I have lived in Japan for over 6 years and really like food in Osaka.  I love Okonomiyaki， Kushikatsu and ...  I am interested in many things in Japan.

My goal is to help all of my students succeed and become great English speakers.  I believe that all people， with hard work and dedication， can reach their dream.

My highschool classes are always alot of fun.  I like to have discussions and talk about many things in my classes.

I always believe that if you try hard you can succeed.

Self introduction
Hello， my name is Kendra Dagg from New York.  I love big cities because I love going to nice restaurants， museums and live performances.  My hobbies are drawing， take pictures， and hiking.  I have been living in Japan for about 2 years and my favorite part about Japan is the great food. 

How is the HIUC high school life?
It is a very relaxed and easy going atmosphere but everyone also works very hard to do the best they can.  All the students are very interesting and fun to teach.  I have enjoyed my time teaching here. 

What subject do you teach?
I teach Listening and Speaking.  My class has a lot of discussion and class presentation to help students get used to speaking their mind. 

How is the students’ English ability?
They are all above average students and quick learners.  Each has their own strength and weaknesses but they seem to balance each other out and help each other when they need to. 

Could you please give some advice to learn English?
In my opinion the best way to learn any language is to actively use the new things you learned each day.  Try and say a new word when you talk to someone to learn vocabulary or write down sentences to help remember grammar.  This was the best way for me to try and learn Japanese so it would be my advice to English learners as well.
